Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated his 75th birthday on Wednesday, with greetings pouring in from leaders across party lines, international dignitaries, and citizens.

The Bharatiya Janata Party marked the occasion with a fortnight-long “Sewa Pakhwada” programme, featuring welfare initiatives, health camps, and fitness events.

President Droupadi Murmu extended warm birthday wishes to PM Modi, praising his “extraordinary leadership” and dedication to the nation. “By exemplifying the pinnacle of hard work through your extraordinary leadership, you have instilled a culture of achieving great goals in the country,” she said.

Vice President C P Radhakrishnan greeted PM Modi, saying, “India is making a mark on the global stage and moving steadily towards the goal of a developed nation under his visionary leadership.”

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said, “Heartfelt birthday wishes to the Honorable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji. Under your able leadership, every citizen of the country is continuously moving forward in the direction of realizing the resolve of a developed India. Your unparalleled dedication and duty towards the motherland are a source of inspiration for every Indian. I pray to God to grant you excellent health and a long life.”

Opposition leaders Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge also extended their warm greetings to the prime minister who today celebrated his 75th birthday.

Rahul Gandhi, who is also the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, tweeted, “Wishing Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji a happy birthday and good health.”

Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress President and Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, wrote, “Best wishes to Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi Ji on his birthday. May he be blessed with good health and a long life.”

Several other opposition leaders, including TMC’s Abhishek Banerjee and former PM HD Deve Gowda, extended birthday greetings to PM Modi. Abhishek Banerjee tweeted, “Greetings to Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi Ji on his birthday.”

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu among others, also extended their birthday wishes to PM Modi.

US President Donald Trump called PM Modi to wish him a happy birthday, admiring his “tremendous job” and discussing key global issues, including the Ukraine conflict.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese extended warm wishes, saying, “Happy Birthday to my friend PM Modi. Australia is proud to share such a strong friendship with India, and we are grateful every day for the contribution of the Indian community here in Australia.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu referred to PM Modi as a “good friend” and praised his accomplishments for India and their countries’ partnership.

Russian President Vladimir Putin greeted PM Modi, lauding his “enormous personal contribution” to strengthening Russia-India relations.

Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan tweeted, “Happy Birthday to Hon. PM Shri @narendramodi ji! Have a healthy and joyful day. May u get some time off from work and have a bit of fun too.”

Bill Gates extended his best wishes for good health and strength, praising PM Modi’s leadership and contribution to global development.

Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar wished PM Modi a happy 75th birthday, saying, “May the year ahead be filled with abundant health, happiness, and strength to lead India forward.”
